It’s happening fast — and it’s not by accident.

Developers are bulldozing through our community, and instead of serving as a check and balance, too many of our local leaders are rolling out the red carpet. Village councils fast-track approvals with minimal oversight. School boards either stay silent or are shut out entirely. And the ones left to deal with the consequences? Everyday residents. Families. Teachers. Taxpayers.

This isn’t about being “anti-growth.” It’s about demanding responsible growth.

If a developer can drop hundreds of new homes into a district without contributing a dime toward the overcrowded schools they’re about to overwhelm — then who ends up footing the bill? We do. Through higher taxes. Through jammed classrooms. Through roads that weren’t built for this kind of traffic. Through infrastructure that was never given a chance to catch up.

We’re not here to play nice with politics. We’re here to expose them.
